Roatan's expat community has an amazingly informative Facebook group. It has a wealth of information! People on and off the island post questions, and accurate, current information is provided to share resources and information. It is one of the ways I keep in touch with what is going on down there when I am away from the island.

Anthony's Key Resort has a testing center at their clinic which is a reputable medical center equipped with a hyperbaric chamber for diving related accidents. This is located in Sandy Bay which is 10 mintues from West End where the Lands End Hotel listed below is located.

RMP website has a wealth of information about their endeavors. Founded in 1988, they have become one of the best examples of a marine protected area in the Caribbean. They and other organizations on the island engage in conservation efforts.
